There is 350 km of dirt trails in the very large Orara State Forest behind our property which is great for mountain bike riding, or horse riding (no horse riding permitted on the property).
Pet friendly. Stay with a local, friendly host.
The campsite offers a peaceful and open space with plenty of room to relax and enjoy nature. Richard, the host, is consistently praised for his friendliness, helpfulness, and accommodating nature. Visitors appreciate the clean facilities, the added bonus of a pool, and the allowance for pets to roam freely. Despite a few minor inconveniences like access challenges for larger vehicles and occasional maintenance issues, the overall experience is positive and welcoming.
Richard met us at the gate and provided instructions on how to get there beforehand. He was very hospitable and friendly. The site was large and away from others. I ran out of gas during my stay and the small township of Coramba was only a short drive away to get these filled. The pool on the property was under maintenance and repairs so it was out of use but the Orara River was close by. There is a small creek by the property but getting down to was a bit tricky but for the price none of these were a deal breaker. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again 😁
