Fana Beag is a tranquil country property 30km from Parkes NSW, with a cute farm stay cabin that offers the perfect antidote to life's hectic pace! We are a goat farm, with about 60 goats, and it's the perfect place to unwind and relax. Simply arrive and open the door to your little private cabin. All amenities you will need, including toilet, shower, and camp kitchen, are only 40 metres away. Listening to the gentle sounds of our chickens and goats is a wonderful way to wake up. You can say hello and walk amongst our friendly goats. Or go for walks without anyone around you. Have a drink on your private verandah, admiring the view of the popular Dish (Parkes Radio Telescope) from anywhere on the farm. There is a reverse cycle air conditioner in the van for your comfort. We are also 100 km from Dubbo Zoo - a great day trip! The cabin is a clever caravan - cabin conversion, in a peaceful spot on the property, with the perfect balance of rusticity and comfort. Accomodation sleeps 2 adults and 2 children. The amenities block just nearby consists of 2 toilets and one shower. There is also a sink, fridge, Microwave, BBQ and frying pan in the nearby shed. We supply sheets, towels, and crockery. Pets are welcome too - please just keep them under control and ensure they don't hassle the resident animals. We look forward to welcoming you to Fana Beag!

Awesome rustic stay!
Fantastic little rustic cabin in a converted caravan. Cabin was spacious and had everything we needed, including a lovely little deck on which to sit and enjoy the views and the peace and quiet. Gemma and Brian were extremely hospitable and we enjoyed a drink with them in the spacious shed under fairy lights. We were able to cook our own meal with the cooking facilities and found all we needed for a simple yet memorable stay.

Amazing everything
Excellent facilities - kitchen area, bathrooms, fire pit, and cabin. And very friendly Labrador to keep us company. Gemma was a lovely host, hand delivering delicious farm fresh eggs. Definitely recommend to anybody!

A trip away with my daughter… First time using hip camp and Gemma’s rural property exceeded all expectations. Just a 4 night stay and could easily stay longer. Lots of charm and rustic character throughout. Lovely converted cabin for a good night sleep and the big open shed with a shower and toilets behind it , a long mirror outside the shower/toilets perfect for an outdoor door shave. Lots of birds flying around and of course the beautiful goats that we visited a few times a day. Great fire pit and lots of branches about the place if you need more fire wood. Lots of shady spots for a picnic or just layback and take in the country sounds. Nice to relax and read a book , paint your canvas or star gaze. Sights within 30km Goobang National Parks, The Dish and Parkes town if you need more supplies. We will definitely visit again. Gemma is a wonderful host and happy to help.

Glamping w/ all the facilities!
With pets
Simple wow! What a lovely little surprise. Photos don't do this property and stay justice! The caravan is surprisingly very roomy and comfortable and even has heating/air conditioning if you need it! The common area with the kitchen is extremely well stocked and roomy, same goes for the new showers and toilet blocks. The host is extremely welcoming and accommodating. We'd highly recommend this stay to anyone!!
