We are an adult-only, clothing-optional, 50-acre farm. We are secluded and situated on a quiet road with forest screening. We have creek with a swimming hole and sandy beach. We offer several flat, well grassed campgrounds, some with fire pits, suitable for tents, campers vans and caravans up to 22 foot. We offer access to off-grid power. We also offer a series of internal walks & running tracks through the forested parts of the property. In addition, we offer a trained masseur who will massage in his forest studio. We offer arts courses: life drawing, basket making and cyanotyping. We offer night tours to view glow-worms. In August and September fireflies can be seen along our creeklines. We can provide escorted tours of local sights including galleries, natural sights including waterfalls and a local commune.

Friendly and helpful staff. My short April stay was what I needed to get perspective while at a crossroads in life. Luckily the sun was out so I saved on laundry.

We broke down 10km for the site and had to have van towed, Craig, Greg & Andy were fantastic in allowing us to glamp in one of their tents, whilst providing impeccable hostage, care, comfort, consideration in ensuring we were looked after not only by them, but the other campers. All contributed to ensuring our stay was easy and memorable- we will be back soon!

Reconnect with nature
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gingernut Farm Camping, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. Nestled in a serene and picturesque setting, this adults-only campsite offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The peaceful surroundings make it an ideal spot for relaxation and unwinding. The absence of children adds to the calm and serene environment, allowing for a truly restful experience. The facilities at Gingernut Farm are rustic and sufficient. The campsites are spacious and unallocated allowing you to find your comfortable stay. From hiking and bird watching to simply lounging by the campfire, there's something for everyone. The farm also offers guided tours, which are a great way to learn more about the local flora and fauna. The hosts at Gingernut Farm are incredibly welcoming and attentive. They go out of their way to ensure that guests have a memorable stay. Their willingness to help with any queries or needs made the experience even more enjoyable. Gingernut Farm Camping is a hidden gem for adults looking to reconnect with nature and enjoy some peace and quiet. The combination of beautiful surroundings, excellent facilities, and friendly hosts makes it a perfect getaway. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing and rejuvenating camping experience.

Lovely spot, welcoming hosts
We stayed in the studio - a room with external access in the hosts' residence. Facilities are basic and rustic but enough for us to easily be comfortable. We enjoyed sharing space with Craig and Greg (Andy was away). They were very hospitable and kept us well supplied with tea, coffee and good conversation about so many topics. One evening, we were taken on a short walk to see glow worms and bioluminescent fungi - both dependent on suitable conditions. The property is large enough to take a good bushwalk along a meandering trail cut through the rainforest, providing lots of interesting opportunities to spot fascinating wildlife and flora. We'd love to return some time. We appreciated the hosts' welcoming, non-judgemental and relaxed hospitality.
