'GlenArthur' is a mixed grazing farm property located approx 16 klm from the small town of Binnaway, and 40 klm from Coonabarabran NSW. A great place to disconnect and get grounded in a bush setting. Explore a few klms of trails and views throughout the property by hiking or biking around campsite, along trails through paddocks and wooded areas of the farm. Keep an eye out for with local wildlife both on the ground and in the trees. Clear skies at night display an abundance of stars within the Milky Way that you just can't see in the city. A campfire is allowed subject to any local fire restrictions at the time. For your convenience the campsite has a permanent steel awning which supplies a rainwater tank, and has solar powered lighting. The campsite is suited to self sufficient campers and RV's as there are no toilet/shower facilities. There is plenty of room at this site for additional tents for family groups. The site is a fairly level and open area suitable for a number of tents and vehicles within a single booking. There is plenty room for children to run around, play and ride. There are trees for shade during the day. It is a natural environment with a rocky escarpment on one side and a hill on the other, with an undulating view down the farm valley. There is a steel awning area for you to set up your camp kitchen if you choose, and to provide some shelter in poor weather. Basic solar lights have been installed for use and operated by a switch on the wall. A 1000L water tank captures rain from the awning during wet periods, it should be treated as a precaution if required for drinking. A camp fire pit has been established and fallen wood can be collected for your use. There are no bathroom amenities here, Guests will need to be self contained, take waste with them and leave no trace.

Great stay
Tent · With kids
What an exceptional place to experience the great Australian outback on a genuine working farm. This place is so tranquil you won’t want to leave. My wife and two girls absolutely loved the experience, especially all the farm animals and wildlife — cows, sheep, goats, kangaroos, emus, and goannas were all highlights. There are plenty of walking and riding trails to explore as well. The owners were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. We will definitely be returning!
