We have 250 acres in the Chichester Valley, we grow chemical-free vegetables and farm cattle. We have campsites on the Chichester River and we are in the water catchment area for the Chichester Dam. Suitable for caravans, camper trailers, tents, motor-homes etc. Good access, 4WD not required & plenty of site options. There is no mobile reception here (unless you climb the hills!). Dogs are not permitted due to livestock. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place, firewood for sale by the small garden trailer load, see photo. Tank water available at the house if required. No amenities so campers must be self-contained and leave no trace. There is a dump site in Dungog Showground, bring a CHEMICAL TOILET ! All campsites are by the river, you can bring your own fire wood. Price is per person. Kids under 12 stay free!

Perfect
John is so kind and helpful, and I love camping at Glenmoore River. With just the river and bird sounds, I have everything I need in peace and quiet. Had the first frost of the season so it was overall quite crisp, ideal for lounging around the fire with a whiskey

Amazing spot, great host. John was a fantastic host and checked on us to make sure we had firewood and to let us know about the local wildlife.

Always a pleasure staying on John’s property. We purchased his firewood but he also brought 3 very large logs to our fire pit throughout our stay as freebies which was perfect for the colder nights!

Glenmoore is a pleasant naturally kept rural property surrounded by a picturesque countryside and mountain range. Campsite 2 provided for a peaceful river ambience. John is a very friendly, knowledgeable and easy going host who provided us with some very decent firewood and a couple of good yarns.

Our third time here, thanks for having us John! Tip for other campers: Dungog has a free dump point in the showgrounds area which is easy to access on the way out.
