Dog friendly. Potable water. Toilet
Tent · With pets
We went there on a Monday so we were the only ones there! It was nice that we didn't have to share the toilet and bath with others. Toilets are compost drop toilets but very nicely designed. It wasn't super clean but that's expected from other reviews and I've adjusted my expectations since we're camping. There's an outdoor shower and an indoor one just below. It was a little weird as it's the families bathroom as well. I don't think towels are provided either so I'm glad we brought our own.
Overall friendly vibe from owners, we had two babies so they were nice to let us know to look for them in case weather wasn't on our side.
Campsite was very exposed, there's not much shelter. It was also pretty windy when I was trying to pitch my tent but thankfully it died down. Campsites are not clearly allocated but I just assumed that it was near the fire pits. (Thanks for the firewood!! That was great!)
We needed potable water and didn't want to lug water to a public campsite so we chose this place. One improvement is that we wished that's taps on the campsite as we had to walk to the toilets about 100m to get water.
Dog on site is very friendly and calm, even my grumpy dog was ok with him. He was absolutely great with kids!
