While most feedback is exceptionally positive, a few remarks note minor inconveniences like traffic noise or limited nearby activities.
We had another lovely weekend at Hawkesbury Hideaway. Our hosts Toni and John were so helpful once again. What a beautiful camping spot right on the Hawkesbury River. We look forward to our next visit!
I really enjoyed this riverside campsite. Since it was a weekday, my friend and I with our dog, had the entire lush green meadow to ourselves, along with the beautiful scenery. I would definitely visit again .
Amazing spot on the Hawkesbury River. We really enjoyed our time there and our boys (2 dogs) loved going for their daily swims as our campsite had the easiest and best access to the river. The atmosphere was so peaceful, great place to recharge and get away from the hustle and bustle. The hosts were also great and the property was very well maintained.
Ample space to set up the swag and have a small fire pit next to your camping spot, we didn’t bring a fire pit, but were able to hire one from John and Toni for $5, If you plan to throw a line in, the fish eat quite well because of the local prawn trawling business that runs up and down the Hawkesbury, worth bringing some bait of your own and giving it a go.
Highly recommend staying at this beautiful property.
What a beautiful hidden gem !! The hosts were friendly & inviting. The place is clean & tidy. Very peaceful weekend, nothing to complain about at all! Good mobile reception ( Telstra), no shops / anything to do close by. This location & place is true camping, and we loved it here. Highly recommended ❤️
