We are off grid and live close to nature and enjoy the abundance that provides. We have been building and developing for the last few years. We are still a work in progress.
There are three Brumbies that live over the fence and 5 other horses that will no doubt come and say hello. They are all friendly, especially if you have a carrot. There are also a lot of kangaroos and wallabies, some quite friendly as they have been raised by our neighbour who does animal rescue. There are also a lot of different species of birds, including the much-loved Black Cockatoos which are in abundance here. We have also seen turtles, frilled neck lizards, diamond pythons, red belly black snakes (rarely) and goannas.Very centrally located 120 acres on the Mid-North Coast - about half way between Sydney and Brisbane, only 1.5 kms off Pacific Highway.

Lorraine was an amazing and accomodating host, we arrived late and she offered to help set up.
The campsite itself is magical, plenty of room to yourself close by the water.
We met the horses and they were lovely, bring plenty of carrots.
10/10.

Lovely place to get away from it all. Wonderfully peaceful except for the cicadas (bloody nature) and a daily visit from the horses. Stayed a 2nd night and had the whole place to ourselves. Highly recommended.

Really beautiful and private spot. Only 5 mins off the highway but felt like we were in the middle of the bush. Well kept property, very friendly hosts and horses. Would recommend!

Recently stopped in at Lorraine’s place on the drive up from Sydney to Byron. Perfectly placed about half way and was an ideal spot for an overnight. Plenty of space, peaceful surroundings, friendly horses and exactly what was called for. Lorraine was super helpful and responsive. Would very much recommend.
