Maravilha Located on 20 Acres ( 9.11 Hectares ) Creek that flows all year with occasional platypus large shared swimming hole. Flat areas beside the creek to pitch a tent or park your caravan 10 minutes drive to Wollongbar shops 20 minutes drive to Shellys Beach, Ballina 50minutes drive to Byron BayWe have one large site on Marom Creek, a spring fed freshwater creek, in a location to easily explore all of the Northern Rivers region of NSW. We are close to several waterfalls, shopping and dining areas and 20 mins to the nearest beaches. The campsite is ideal for RV's and tents, it does not flood, as situated well above the creek level. This is a quiet retreat on our 20 acre lifestyle block that is a mix of grazing pasture and native riparian vegetation. There is plenty of gently sloping grassy land to set up camp. Ideal spot for both families and solo travellers. The base price covers 4 people, but there is room for up to 8 people and 4 vehicles on this site. There is no power. There is a shared kitchen prep area and a sink with town water (cold only). There are 2 fire pit areas. One on the lower level by the creek and one near the kitchen area with a grate to cook on. Use of these is strictly not permitted when a fire ban / restrictions are in place. Phone / internet service exists but is at times poor and intermittent. Hopefully you'll experience the many native birds of the area. Alongside the creek you may also see water dragons and turtles. If you are lucky you may spot a platypus or two in the swimming hole or upstream. The large swimming hole is safe to swim in. This is a shared swimming hole with neighbouring properties, though on most occasions it is very quiet. There are though submerged rocks and branches, so do not dive in. Kayaks are available for hire. There is a flush toilet and cold water shower.
