Incredible location
16 ft travel trailer Β· Group trip
Easy access to large beautiful site with green lush low cut lawn. We launched our rooftop tinnie at the private boat ramp and used the stairs at the campsite to tie off at night and access the river. We loved everything about moon river farm and did not want to leave. We only had 3 nights but could easily stay for a month. 11/10

You have your own private camping area. There is plenty of fish to catch..well when we got there, almost reeled in an eel even.

Such a great spot! Private and right on the river. Very well maintained with easy access to the river which is ideal for the kids to kayak or SUP on.

Great location. Unfortunately we had the worst weather but the communication from the hosts throughout was fantastic. Will be back to try and make better use of the river with some better weather.

Great for a group. There be cows.
The site was very private. 1 boat cruised past and that was the only human we saw. Tia was helpful and responsive to my messages and questions. Camp toilet was great! My partner had a great time bird-spotting, with some different species to our usual stomping ground. Directions were clear and easy to follow. Site is unsheltered so very sunny during the day. There were ants nesting in the table which was a challenge with having food out. Tia assured me they would address this. Be aware that you will be interacting with cows and their poo - there were many cow pats on the road in, which were hard to avoid running over - being that we were in a van, we were camped with the smell of cow poo! We had a good laugh about it. The electric fence is turned off during stays, and cows got into the site - one left a runny poo near the fire pit, which could not be picked up with the provided shovel - so we had a land-mine to contend with. For the price, we thought it was great if you have a large group, but we would seek another, cheaper site if it was just the 2 of us again.
