Great for a group. There be cows.
The site was very private. 1 boat cruised past and that was the only human we saw.
Tia was helpful and responsive to my messages and questions.
Camp toilet was great!
My partner had a great time bird-spotting, with some different species to our usual stomping ground.
Directions were clear and easy to follow.
Site is unsheltered so very sunny during the day.
There were ants nesting in the table which was a challenge with having food out. Tia assured me they would address this.
Be aware that you will be interacting with cows and their poo - there were many cow pats on the road in, which were hard to avoid running over - being that we were in a van, we were camped with the smell of cow poo! We had a good laugh about it.
The electric fence is turned off during stays, and cows got into the site - one left a runny poo near the fire pit, which could not be picked up with the provided shovel - so we had a land-mine to contend with.
For the price, we thought it was great if you have a large group, but we would seek another, cheaper site if it was just the 2 of us again.
