Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Take in the serenity from your own little piece of paradise on the banks of the pristine Clarence river.
Just 6.5 km from the jacaranda city of Grafton and 40 minutes drive from Yamba, we offer two level grassy camp sites surrounded by a beautiful poplar shade tree plantation. Private boat ramp directly in front of camp with easy access. 4x4 is recommended for boat launching. You can fish right from camp!
Drinking water is connected as well as hot shower and toilet, plus you have your own BBQ and picnic table. Relax while the kids swim, fish or paddle the river. The beaches of Yamba are only 40 minutes away and the beautiful mountains of the great dividing range can be seen from your camp site.
Campfires permitted, but you must BYO firewood, or, I can provide you with firewood. Please let me know.
Access is possible for all vehicles. Plenty of room for caravans and rigs to turn around.
The communication with Kevin was totally non existent. We booked the site in January (during another Hipcamp adventure,) and asked Kevin a couple of questions. We got an answer on the 2nd March just as we were due to arrive.
Our stay needed to be cut short due to the impending arrival of Cyclone Alfred. On day 3 of a 7 day visit we were being buffetted with high winds with branches falling around our Motorhome. In light of this we asked for a refund (actually we would have been more than happy with a credit to use at a more serene and less dangerous time). Kevin did not reply to any communication and has either intentionally or by sheer lack of interest, failed to reply to our request. I cannot imagine what would have occurred had we needed emergency assistance. Kevin does not care about his guests and as such we would recommend against booking this Hipcamp
I loved that we were by ourselves and that the only sound you could hear were the trees in the wind. Beautiful sunset and sunrise looking over the Clarence River. Would love to come back in winter to use the huge fire pits. Thanks Kevin
Very disappointed. Unfortunately we could not stay at this property. On arrival the property was not maintained as per photos. Our site was not on riverbank as expected and the four sites available at this property were close together similar to caravan parks.
Such a great spot - we all really enjoyed being so close to the river and having a flushing toilet and shower was a huge bonus ! We will definitely be back again 😃😃
we had great time camping at Kevin's place, we were by ourselves there which made the experience amazing, I believe if there's other campers it wouldn't be as private
