Riverview is just a five-minute drive from the famous Bega Cheese Factory located in Bega, NSW. Our 33-acre property has 360-degree views of mountains, rolling farmland, and countryside and it overlooks the beautiful Bega River. Tathra is just 15 minutes drive away, with Merimbula around 25 minutes, Bermagui 45 minutes, and Eden 35 minutes. All of these towns have beautiful beaches, fishing, boating, whale-watching tours, and much more. Pack a picnic and walk to the river just down the hill from your camp site. The Bega river is clean fresh water and is well worth a visit on a hot day to cool off. Your hosts can show you a secluded area of the river that you can access easily. The whole area has an array of beautiful spots to explore both on the property and along the riverside. Jackie is always willing to give fresh produce from her veggie garden during your stay just to make you feel welcome. There are horses you can pat and a few sheep that are very friendly and love to be given bread. The historic Bega Cheese Factory and Heritage Center is just a couple of minutes away. The main shopping center and mall in town is just a five-minute drive. On our property, we can offer you a relaxing quiet stay in a secure area. You will love your stay at this little farm and the friendly service you will receive. We look forward to hosting you.Park your van or pitch your tent on a grassed flat area. You are camped in a very safe quiet area at the top of the driveway. If you need anything we are here to help but otherwise, will leave you in peace to enjoy the lovely, convenient location with beautiful 360-degree views. The camping area has good access for all types of vehicles, with enough space for easy turning and maneuvering. you can walk from the camping paddock down to some lovely spots by the river. Well-behaved pets are welcome however must be kept under control at all times as we have farm animals on the property. We supply you with a fire pit however you will need to bring your own wood to burn. also no fires during fire bans. The main house is a few hundred meters away from the camping area.

This campsite, nestled near Bega, offers stunning 360-degree views and a serene atmosphere, making it a favorite for many campers. Jackie, the host, is frequently praised for her welcoming nature and helpful guidance, including sharing tips about local attractions. While most reviews highlight the spacious and well-maintained grounds, a few visitors noted the lack of shaded areas and the proximity of neighboring campers, which may affect privacy. Despite these concerns, the picturesque setting and central location make it an appealing choice for those exploring the NSW south coast.

So lovely and peaceful! Great views
6 ft pop-up camper
Lovely camp at the top of a hill with glorious views! You are greeted by Jackie and Tip to welcome you and show you around. Very quiet, with a little fireplace ready to go and use (BYO wood & only when not a TFB) Jackie has a great little swimming spot just down the hill to cool off in too! So nice to see someone not trying to charge extortionate fees to camp on their land! Will stay again if in the area for sure! Thanks Jackie and Tip ◡̈

Tent
It was quite full when we got there, but there was just enough room for our car and a small tent. Much smaller space than we're used to.

Honest Details :)
32 ft travel trailer · With kids
We booked at the last minute and Jackie was amazing. She was prompt with reaching out and even came out to see us when we arrived. She was friendly and really supportive. 10/10 for being an amazing host. But...to be honest, advertising a "33-acre property has 360-degree views of mountains" was fairly cheeky!! "Pack a picnic and walk to the river just down the hill from your camp site." ACTUALLY means walk down the driveway, along a road and across another road, it is not on the property, but technically yes, a 5 minute walk! The pictures suggest accessible flat paddocks leading to a river but sadly no such thing (very deceiving pictures!) "Park your van or pitch your tent on a grassed flat area...convenient location with beautiful 360-degree views." ACTUALLY means pull into a small fenced off box nestled snuggly between the other 5 sectioned off boxes in the small paddock (the rest if the property is 1 big hill) Your views will be your VERY close neighbours on either side of your small rectangular fenced patch - make sure you close the blinds to get changed, and don't leave your dog outside if you are worried about the safety of the little kids from your neighbouring vans, you can't blame the little munchkins for making themselves at home all around your van when you are mere meters from their door! It was sort of like a very small caravan park at the top of a windy hill, complete with screaming children, flapping tents and lots of neighbours, but no amenities :)

Jackie is such a friendly host. She will help with anything you ask. She will also show you "The Secret Swimming Hole" to EVERYBODY!!!! It's a bit of a running joke with her lol. We have been there twice now and will more than likely end up there again one day. It's a beautiful camp with amazing views. Do yourself a favour and go visit ✨️

We loved camping at Arena Paddock at Riverview. It was an awesome place to stay, with a beautiful 360-degree view. We had a fantastic time at the camping site and it is very secure and easy to find. It was a 10-minute drive to Bega town center and a half-hour drive to Thatra Beach, River Esplanade, and national parks. Jackie is a great host and very helpful.
