Sitting on 25 acres this spot is great to just unwind and relax, looking out over the trees down the valley is as beautiful as it gets. A lot of bird activity will accompany your mornings and afternoons. Enjoy sitting around the fire pit at nighttime roasting marshmallows. Come nighttime during September - February it is the mating season for koalas, the valley being a known corridor for koloas you quite often hear them searching for their partner. being such an accessible site and not off the beaten track, some days you may notice more vehicles driving past. Just a short drive to the local country pub, even a few local wineries. Take the old convict road all the way down to the country pub at st Albans, which is very peaceful for adults but theres also a creek for the kids to play in and newly upgraded playground. Off the convict road there are a few 4wd tracks. Just back from the property you have direct access into the Watagan Mountains, which offers great 4wd tracks, lots of hiking trails, motorbike tracks and even a few waterfalls.#buckettyvalleyview #valhalla " wifi now available at extra cost" Pitch your tent or back your caravan in. Fold out your chair and relax with very limited phone reception. Enjoy the crackling of the fire in the fire pit provided as you relax and look over the valley. For your convenience, you can purchase a crate of firewood for $20 from me. Each crate is loaded with firewood and is approx. 25kg, Depending on the size of the fire, one crate is usually enough for a night. Discounts for 3 or more crates of firewood purchased at once. Wood can be prepaid via bank transfer or cash on arrival. Due to a limited phone signal, please advise prior to arrival if you wish to purchase firewood. We recommend you don't let pets walk off into the bush out of sight, and please be respectful and pick up their waste. The local area boasts a lot of history and lots to see and do. Head along Geroge Downs Drive, a short drive past the fire station on the left. You'll find handmade walls that were constructed back in the day by convicts. If you follow this dirt road, it will lead you to a beautiful country pub at St. Albans, which is located right by the creek. Swim and play at the park for the little ones and quiet beravge at the pub for the parents. Also, a short drive from the site to a little town called Laguna. which has a great little restaurant, the trading post, awesome food, and lovely staff. Take a short drive to Wollombi village and check out the little country shops, galleries, cafes, and pubs, and support the rebuild of recent weather events. Enjoy the local wineries with what they have to offer. A short drive into the Watagan mountains where you'll find waterfalls, lookouts, picnic areas, and lots of walking/ riding tracks.

Well maintained campsite with clean pit toilet. Has a nice view of the valley. Because of close proximity to the road you'll hear cars driving past frequently other than that it's a great campsite.

Beautiful spot, amazing views and so peaceful. Feels remote despite being so close to the road. WiFi and firewood on arrival a lovely touch too. We will be back!
