have 200 acres which incorporates rocky mountain and paddocks. There is a walking track around the paddocks or you can bush walk the bush track. We also back on to the Dananbilla national park which is 35 square kilometres. A running spring fed creek with yabbies and watercress and small water hole in creek for a dip with small water fall. We back on to 35 square kms of national park called Dananbilla. You can see kangaroos, wallaby, wombat and if lucky akidna , goanna , lace monitor and many varieties of birds. Great cell phone service with optus and telstra but not Vodafone. Can charge your phone ,just bring your lead and power plug. Plenty of firewood for your stay from fallen dead branches. The mountain has the origional trig station for the area on top from early 1800s with beautifull views. We cater for all size vehicles. Site 2 - Waimanu Marae

Neville is an excellent host. He met us at the gate. He offered us a portaloo if we needed one. Plenty of firewood around. Quiet it is just off the road but it is not to busy. 2wd accessible. Quiet bushland which meant lots of family bonding, fires, board games and belting out the tunes. Creek is low at moment lots of bamboo in waterway. Neville has great plans to restore the creek.

this spot is perfect if you want something secluded and quiet. we had an amazing time sitting and listening to the wildlife. neville was a great host and made sure to give us all the help he could

Site 3 - Waimanu Marae

Neville was at the gate to meet me and for a solo traveller that does not like to depend in google lol this was the start of a great experience. The area was quite and peaceful great for relaxing reading a book and watching the wild life .

I enjoyed Tent camping on Neville's property along the creek. While this site was near a road, there was very little traffic so the site still felt private and relaxing. Look forward to staying again sometime 😊
