Had a great time at Willa Willa! A great set up and friendly host. It was nice being surrounded by all of the animals with our highlight being their two pet dogs and cat!! Would definitely stay again
We really enjoyed our secluded camp at Darren’s farm that’s surrounded by beautiful bush land. He’s perfectly leveled out a large area that made setting up a cinch. A delightful Bali hut was used both to watch the stunning sunset and enjoy our morning coffees. Darren was so welcoming and kindly helpful; we would love to pop in again sometime and explore the region further.
If you’re looking for a quick camping getaway from Sydney, this spot is an absolute gem! Our trip was made even better by the delicious breakfast and lunch at The Hub Mangrove Mountain—highly recommend stopping by.
For the best experience, try to book a campsite near the farm (not sure of the exact name, but it’s worth finding). Darren, the host, is incredible—such a friendly and welcoming guy who truly seems to be living the dream. He took the time to show us around, making our stay even more special.
The farm animals were a highlight for us! The dogs were so sweet, and our daughter is already missing PJ. And Johnny the donkey—what a character!
Wish the weather had held up on the second day, but even with the rain, it was a fantastic trip. Can’t wait to come back!
Darren has thought of everything to make this a top notch camping destination- fantastic level grassed area with immaculately cared for lawns, great views, clean and well equipped facilities including bathroom and kitchen area which came in very handy for washing up. We loved the menagerie of animals and friendly pets. I would feel comfortable coming here on my own, felt very safe and well cared for. Thank you for a great weekend, looking forward to coming back!
Check in was very easy Darren met us at the gate and showed us where to camp he gave us some options of where to park up due to the cyclone weather approaching. He was very accommodating and easy to speak to. He showed us around the farm, even gave us some carrots to feed the animals. He had two doggies on the farm, which one of the them the older one kept us company most nights which made us feel very safe! Especially at night. And with dogs was very happy to see us the next morning :).
There is a shower with hot water on the propperty and he said if we did run out of hot water to let him know and he will sort it also a working toilet. There was also a kitchen which had gas top and a sink and a fidge which I didn't know but a wounderful suprise.
We loved staying here, was very relaxing and lovely view. I would definitely recommend staying here and I would come back again. Thank you do much Darren and the doggies :)
