Quick trip to the mountains to get a Christmas tree and Blue Bear Mountain was a great spot to overnight. We didn't arrive until after dark, and the relatively steep road up to the camp at the top was a little daunting at night, but the team was kind enough to set up small cones at our campsite so we would have no trouble finding our spot in the dark. The camp staff was very friendly and accommodating. A beautiful view in every direction....we look forward to coming back next summer.
We have stayed here many times over the years in tents, camper trailers and now our Sprinter. Always a good time a Blue Bear! The bath house is clean and a welcome sight after a couple of days without. We will be back soon!
The host was most accommodating. It was unusually cold for my trip so he moved my site where I could have electric for heat. The winds were way to intense for my liking so I did cut my trip short by 2 days.
The location was great for tent camping. It was nice and quiet. Loved that there was a bath house with outside sink available to wash up dishes. Firewood was readily available and Mike was a delightful campground host. Also loved viewing the local wildlife. Would recommend this place to anyone who likes to rough it a bit.
