So....pack your gear and find peace away from life's everyday stress!!! Nestled in the heart of the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains, this private and secluded campsite offers an unparalleled retreat for nature enthusiasts. Owned by a proud Cherokee landowner, the sites are rich in heritage and surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the land’s ancestral roots. Located just below Mt. Mitchell, the tallest peak east of the Mississippi, this campsite boasts stunning shade trees, serene scenery, and access to incredible hiking trails and lush forests, including private access to the trail that leads to Mt. Mitchell. Whether you seek adventure and tranquility or are a mushroom-hunting enthusiast, this hidden gem provides the perfect escape to reconnect with nature in a setting steeped in history and natural beauty. Pet FriendlyOur site is tucked into the beautiful trees with a gorgeous view of the Blue Ridge Mountains on our property. *This site is completely OFF GRID*, shaded, and serene. A short trail leads to Site A with an existing RV bathroom for use if needed, but we recommend you bring a camping toilet. Please pack out garbage with you to avoid fines (and show off what an amazing human being you are), and leave the site clean. We have plenty of wildlife to observe, but please be sure to keep food and trash well-contained to avoid an unplanned visit from the Three Bears. There's a public trash dropoff and; recycling spot in Micaville open until 5p. Our hiking trail by Site A connects you directly to the Mount Mitchell trail, which is the only private entrance to this trail. Enjoy foraging for mushrooms, hiking, or just time in nature away from screens. To ensure a comfortable tent stay, consider bringing a mat. There are nut trees that shed and no one wants to sleep like the Princess and The Pea. Parking is provided at the entrance of Site B. Due to space, one vehicle per rental is allowed.

Peaceful, beautiful, will be back!
Tent · With pets
Wow, this place was beautiful and private. It's definitely off grid, and that's exactly what I wanted...to both disconnect -and connect with nature. The pup and I had a peaceful time and we found hiking trails right here and streams/rivers nearby. The site itself faces the mountain...the sunset and views are majestic. There's a general store within walking distance that has everything and caters to campers, that's convenient. Loved it. Will be back!
