The property is situated on 3.5 acres of land, much of it overlooking Calabogie Lake as we are on a small hill. Our property has this unique tent, a family house and plenty of space to enjoy Calabogie air. The property is not on the water, but right across the road from the Park which is on the water and has a boat launch, beaches, benches, etc. Barnet Park is beautifully kept and very charming! The tent is tucked away on the forest edge. You will enjoy the sounds of nature living around you. We are a short walk from the town centre, restaurants and shops. You have a private outhouse with a Porta Potti toilet and a hot water shower. Our canvas tent is a comfortable stay for those who like the rustic outdoors but enjoy the comforts of hot water, a king bed, a wooden stove, and electricity. Wifi is on site. The tent is nestled against the forest edge on The Wynland's property. It is a spacious tent, tucked away for maximum privacy but still close enough to the main house to enjoy electricity and hot water. For all guests staying at The Wynland, there is a spot for a campfire on the grounds, overlooking Calabogie Lake. We supply the wood! **but please note that during the summer, it's possible that Calabogie has a fire ban**. There are also 2 wooden chairs with a fire bowl overlooking the lake, and a picnic table for your use.

Absolutely perfect weekend!!
We had the privilege of meeting Doris, Ed, Charlie, and Jack and what a wonderful family! Doris was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and we were warmly greeted on arrival. The glamping tent was absolutely perfect! It didn’t feel like a tent so much as a cozy cabin. The entire layout was well thought out and built. There are many thoughtful touches to make small cabin living easy and not feel like camping at all. We liked all the methods to keep mosquitoes away. There were ZERO mosquitoes in the bathroom and the tent. Honestly, I wish we could live here for an extended period of time. This was the relaxing weekend we needed and the whole experience was incredibly inspiring. I hope we meet again soon.
