Shhhhh. I want to keep this a secret 🙊. Lovely peaceful spot next to the creek with a nice little swimming hole. Nice walking tracks as well, but just wandering along the farm track is beautiful if you're not up for a bigger walk. Great firepits as well for a decent fire and to get the camp ovens going. Thanks Laura for sharing your beautiful home. We will definitely be back.

Very nice area, nobody else was staying at the other campsite when we were there so completely private. Didn’t see the owners at all but that’s no problem for us. There was a box with info and emergency first aid kit and PLB provided which is a good inclusion for emergencies. Lovely cattle on the property roaming around, nice creek to explore.

This is truly an amazing huge spot!
Very private with a spectacular view of sunsets and stars.
The gentle sound of the creek is also so refreshing and relaxing.

Nice drive in with a shallow rocky creek crossing and a couple of other little crossings. Responsive host. Great for a group and fantasic views. Shade in morning and afternoon. Nice and private.

If you're looking for a place to camp and get away from it all, then this could very well be the place for you. A choice of a couple of secluded sites with either mountain views or a stay beside a beautiful creek. There also some walks to be undertaken by the adventurous camper. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I will certainly be back. Thanks Laura.

What a spectacular part of the world! If you crave getting back to nature and a little bit of soul restoration this is the place for you. You most likely wont see another soul, no phone reception a beautiful babbling creek and surrounded by mountains. It really was a slice of heaven!

Another glorious stay at this wonderful property.
The creek was running well after the recent rains and the water was the clearest I have seen in all our various stays over the last year. We spent the first hot day laying in the creek - pure bliss!

We really enjoyed our time at this campsite. The views of Mt Castle are amazing. The creek provided a cool area to explore with our children and the site was lovely and grassy, level and spacious. We were the only campers at the time we visited and the site was beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely recommend.

What a beautiful spot. I was camped by the riverside (which despite not having rain recently, still had a few pools to splash in) and on a beautiful expansive meadow.
Many walking trails and places to explore, you couldn’t get bored here.
Didn’t cross a soul for days (except when our car battery died and Lauras lovely dad was able to assist us).
Would 100% come back again!

We had a lovely 2 nights. So quiet and peaceful. Look forward to another visit when there is perhaps a little more water in the creek. Loved the curious cows and calves coming up close to the camp.

We loved camping in our caravan at The Valleys site 1. The site was a nice flat area beside Laidley Creek, which was full of beautiful river rocks & stones, but with very little water at the time. It is just a paddock, so you'll need to be self sufficient. Closest little town Mulgowie is about a 15 minutes drive from site. We would highly recommend the pub lunch there. At our campsite there were lots of friendly, inquisitive cows & calves roaming in to say hello, getting very close to us. We did about an hours hike & loved following & crossing the creek & taking in views of the valley & Castle (?) Mountain. We travelled with our daughter who was in her caravan. We had this site to ourselves. It would easily fit 8 caravans. There is another site 2, probably 500 metres further along. There were 3 or 4 vans/tent there, but we did not hear them. This site 2 is right beside creek too, it's quite a lot bigger than site 1. Would love to return with lots of family & friends as this site would easily accommodate 20 caravans. Thank you Laura for your great correspondence leading up to our weekend & very detailed instructions on how to get there. Also the laminated sheets with info on the different walks was much appreciated, as was the emergency kit provided.

I've done a LOT of camping at many different places over a long period of time and this is now my favourite place! What an amazing property in a magical location. The place is huge and we had the whole of the Creekside Field to ourselves where other camps would have allowed 50 or more groups on that large space - this is what made it so special - total peace and privacy and space right on the creek with mountains all around. The scenery was breath taking and field was green and grassy. The fire ring was an old bulldozer track which is cool, and the provided picnic bench was super handy. A first aid kit, plb and 20L of water in a jerry were all waiting for us at the site which was fantastic. I can't wait to visit here again, and again. and again! Thankyou Laura for letting us enjoy your piece of paradise 🙏

This was a great stay for me in my Sprinter Campervan, easy enough to access, crossing the creek bed was fine in my non 4wd ( it was dry in that area at the time) Such a secluded spot with just me and the cows. Laura is an awesome host... super responsive and very helpful. Would definitely come and stay again. 5🌟

Oh the serenity listening to the sounds of nature. So relaxing hearing the creek flowing, cattle, birds, frogs and other wildlife. Beautiful scenery and what a great way to end the day by sitting around a campfire looking at the stars. Truly a great place to stay.
The host Laura and her family are wonderful. Helpful, accommodating and very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna on their land.
