Jack's Place offers a peaceful camping experience with ample space and friendly hosts, Norm and Liz, who are praised for their warm hospitality. Campers appreciate the quiet, scenic environment with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy nature. While the creek sometimes runs dry, the presence of horses and other wildlife adds charm to the stay. Some amenities like water and toilets need to be self-provided, but the campsite's affordability makes it a popular choice.

We stayed for 3 nights at Jack's place. It was quiet and very relaxing, sitting back and reading with a coffee. Every morning, 3 horses came to greet us. We were told not to pat them or feed them. It was just a nice treat to see them each morning. Unfortunately it rained before we got there and the track in was a bit hard on the van, with quite a few pot holes. All in all, we would go back to escape the noise of life.

Beautiful site by the creek
26 ft travel trailer
Beautiful open space. We were lucky enough to have it completely to ourselves for 2/3 nights. We also needed to come a day earlier, which was happily accommodated by Liz. Easy and fast responses. The only problem was with the Hipcamp app as it wouldn’t let me amend my booking on the actual day so had to cancel and then rebook the whole trip. Hipcamp charged extra $ which Liz offered to refund me - I declined as it was an app issue and not her fault at all.

What a find! We enjoyed our 4 peaceful nights stay here. Our campsite was flat with loads of space, and not at all close to other campsites. There was a good variety of bird life to enjoy, and we enjoyed the views from our campsite - lots of trees, as well as a beautiful little creek winding through the property. Norm and his daughter Elizabeth, are incredibly welcoming and friendly hosts.

Relaxing by the Creek
Tent
Another relaxing stay at Jack’s place…. in our tent this time. Norm welcomed us and showed us to a great level spot by the creek. It’s a great place to chill by the fire at night and enjoy the serenity. The friendly horses are a bonus, waiting for a carrot ! We will be back again ! Thank you Norm and Elizabeth for sharing your lovely property. C & M
