TerraLyra is situated on 55 acres of beautiful Fraser Coast Hinterland, surrounded by natural forests and land formations, and blessed with abundant wildlife. We offer 8 powered sites and 20 camp sites. Take a walk through the young forest up to the ridge amongst more mature gums and other native trees. Enjoy the Paperbark gum and Balga plant areas and find the hidden baby nature dam where you will be mesmerized by its beauty and serenity. We have been told that it is a great place for contemplation and meditation. Our large dam is home to fish and many native ducks, herons, swamp hens, cormorants, and more. Bird song trills through the forest daily, with flocks of wild parrots in the high trees. Occasionally, goannas and dragon lizards can be seen sunning themselves, and later in the day, wallabies and kangaroos can be seen making their move. Look out for the native brown and green frogs. Bring your kayak and paddle and swim in the large dam. There are great bike trails in the nearby Glenwood forest areas. We offer camping with a difference, providing a special place of rest and restoration with other optional extras, such as healings and readings onsite, alongside other activities like sky watch and fire ceremonies.

Beautiful Beyond Words
My family and I absolutely adore TerraLyra. It's an incredibly special place of relaxation, rejuvenation and healing for us all. The lake is absolutely beautiful, the facilities and amenities are top notch, and the Land offers so many wonders and beautiful camping sites. We love being able to have a fire and our tent city set up to reconnect and be together. Thank you Heather and Louise for all you offer at TerraLyra Sanctuary Retreat!

Loved ittt!
Me and my friends loved camping here! Heather is a very accomodating, friendly and patient host. Not only was she understanding but also provided a tour of the land and introduce our anxious puppy to her beautiful doggie who was a great influence on him. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, affordable, interesting location for a camping trip.

This place was so amazing. We were so thankful to find the site that had a tent already set up for us. Made for a stress free trip. The facilities were incredible... everything was made with so much love. To top it off the hosts were so kind too. Our only regret, we couldn't stay longer. Already planning our next trip back!

Quiet and relaxing little property with lots of bird life. Beautiful views across the lake. Tidy amenities much appreciated. The hosts, Heather and Louise were very friendly. We plan on visiting again in the future.
