We are located just off the Horrocks Highway on the way to the Clare Valley amongst 42 acres of peppermint gum scrub sheltered by the ranges west of Tarlee. Here you will find lovely spread out camping spots with plenty of space to explore, quiet country roads for walking or riding with spectacular views of the ranges and valley as well as Kangaroos, Kookaburras and more native wildlife.
Bush camping at its best.
Firewood available to purchase on arrival, $25 for a large container and fire drums are provided.
NO CHAINSAWS
A beautiful peaceful spot with plenty of space for caravans, campers, tents and swags.
We have a small flock of sheep to pat, children love to ride their push bikes down the hills and through the tracks. Our scrub is perfect for outdoor imagination and bundles of energy. Campers have made cubbies in the trees, tyre swings and set up hammocks for lazy afternoons or a swing.
Pick a site that suits you best, set up camp, light a fire and sit back and relax.
Pet friendly. Long drop toilet available.
This campsite offers a serene and spacious environment, perfect for those seeking peace and privacy. The well-maintained grounds are complemented by clean facilities, including a notably clean long-drop toilet. Friendly hosts, accompanied by their charming dog, enhance the experience, while the available firewood and fire barrels add to the comfort and convenience. Some campers mentioned minor nuisances like flies, but overall, the site's tranquility and natural beauty shine through.
Beautiful property! We stayed overnight up on the hill in swags and had the best night sleep. Woke up to Magpies having a nosey around the swags.
The campsires are spaced nicely, we only heard the campers next to us when they got a bit rowdy every now and then.
Very clean longdrop toilet with plenty of toilet paper and lights so you don't trip on your way during the night.
The fire barrels provided were very handy and helped to contain the campfire as we had a little bit of wind that night.
Kellie the owner's dog kept us company for most of the night which was very welcomed.
We will most definitely be back again!
Great spot with nice scenery. Plenty of space between camp sites if people prefer a bit more isolation.
The misso said she loved the toilet available there - cleanest one she’d ever used at a campsite
Flies were annoying but were gone by sunset/night.
Friendly host that leave easy instructions and point you in the right direction
Very peaceful & quiet, there were a few groups but they are far enough so you feel like you are there alone. For $25 you'll get a very generous amount of firewood delivered by Russell and Kelly the friendly dog. A nice view over the wheat field.
It’s a well maintained camping area with fire drums and personal camp sites within a large camping paddock. Clean toilet onsite but otherwise you need to be self-contained. No power, no water. A very serene outlook over farming country side. Very special and pet friendly.
This was my 2nd time staying here and I just love this campsite. The hosts are wonderful and I can not praise them enough! They recommended the perfect spot for me to set up camp with myself and my old dog that can sometimes be a little reactive with other dogs. I was camping solo this time and they offered reassurance that they were only a phone call away if I needed help with anything. It was so appreciated and made my overnight stay just a great experience (again). This will definitely now be my go to place when I just want to have a quiet little getaway to look at wonderful peaceful surroundings and read my book or just soak up a little bit of nature! I highly recommend staying here!
Very peaceful and it was lovely to watch all of the different bird life at the dam. Lovely owners who helped out when we had a flat battery when leaving.
