The RV spot is special. Enjoy your own space in nature, not far from Charleston (25 mins). We provide 50 amps, septic hook-up, water, & firewood. Our spot is private & perfect for relaxing & unwinding. Enjoy a bonfire, gaze @ stars, read a book, or go for a bike ride @ the West Ashley Greenway. We are close to beaches, restaurants, Plantations, & shopping. There is a boat landing up the road; go kayaking, crabbing, or boating. We are pet friendly! Gravel driveway is pull-through so easy in/out!

Current site is not as represented in the photo or description. Site is located on a business property for tree removal. Trucks, trailers, work crews are in the immediately space as camper site and using the same advertised restroom. Site cleanliness was lacking. Location is convenient to Charleston. No cell signal or sewer hookup.

There was plenty of room to setup the trailer. We took our three labs with us and we were able to play with them off leash which was the main reason we went there. We didn't have a fire but there was plenty of firewood available. Vanessa was a great host, we had some problems with slow wifi and she let us use the router in our trailer which made a big difference. The place was about 25 min from Charleston so it wasn't far from town at all. I would recommend them and would stay there again.

Mixed feelings

Utility hook ups were all good. The setting and the privacy were also good. We booked this site to go to reunion in Charleston, so this was only for us to sleep overnight for a week. Unfortunately, the site grass was not mowed and the previous tenant left quite a bit of debris around the site. That and the potholes we had to drive through to get the RV parked, the 7:30 wood splitting and chain saws, and the early (for is) beeping truck backing up right by the site, is what made me give this a mixed feelings review.

Best camping site near Charleston!

My wife and I stayed at Vanessa's site for a month, and the location is fantastic! You'll be 15 minutes away from West Ashley and 25 from Charleston. We had a blast seeing the city and the parks nearby, and Vanessa is a sweetheart who will look after and assist you in any way possible. We were very lucky to find this place and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the Charleston area!
