Welcome to your private riverside retreat in Llano, TX. Your RV, camper, or campervan can nestle between my cabin and Mesquite under our big Texas sky on the sandy soil. Your neighbors are far enough away you can run your generator or plug into 50amp or 110v outlets. Quiet hours begin when you are sleeping so bring your guitar. 'Enjoy cool nights stargazing and having soul inspiring conversations by a warm fire. There is a picnic table for making early breakfast and coffee before heading out to the river or the many nearby historic sites and hiking and biking trails. Bring your family & Fido for outdoor activities at the River. My family and I come out once a month to enjoy our cabin. When you're there you'll have the place to yourself unless we are visiting. I am available by phone during your stay. There is no WiFi and Cell service is spotty. You can reach more cell service by the....( pine tree/ end of road) If you need to reach me. We look forward to your stay and enjoyment of all the natural luxuries that makes this place so special. There's a gentle slop downhill to the river. The sunrises in front of the RV Spot and we take a short walk to watch the evening sunset. There is a sandy beach on on our part of the river and it is very private. To get to deeper water it is a short hike. For any rock hounds out there, there is beautiful rocks and gemstones in the riverbed. There is lots of wildlife and very quiet at night. There is no wifi and cell service is limited which is a good thing, in my humble opinion.

Great spot for a quick trip!
22 ft travel trailer · With pets
Great host and site! My wife and I wanted a quick trip out of the city and this was just what we were looking for! The host, David, was great, responsive and friendly. He let us know where all of the good spots on the river were and we appreciated his insight. Definitely bring booties for your dogs! There are lots of stickers so knowing and preparing for that will make your stay much better. Our dogs wore booties (begrudgingly) and never had issues with stickers in their paws. We camped in a 22ft trailer. All the hookups worked fine. No real cell service but enough to send and receive texts. If you absolutely need service, you can go into Llano which is only 10 mins away. We had a great time and will return!

wonderful quiet site
22 ft travel trailer · With kids
very nice and quiet place with direct access to the llano river. I didn't connect to the utilities so I can't speak to their functionality but everything looked well maintained and clean. I did require leveling blocks to level my trailer and it seemed like a rain storm could create a low traction situation on the soft ground. will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Lovely spot and lovely host!
38 ft travel trailer
Lovely spot so close to the river. Set up was easy and David was such a kind host! This being Texas - a long drought followed by plenty of rain means the burweed had flourished. If you have city dogs like us don’t forget your dog booties! This is a must! David was kind enough to let us use a mower to trim the campsite area. We had such a lovely time💜
