Alpine Nature Experience offers intimate and sustainable nature-based experiences in Victoria's beautiful high country. Tucked away in a gorgeous, little, secret part of Mt Hotham, Alpine Nature Experience’s eco- village is fully sustainable and off the grid. Here, you’ll discover Australia’s only Tree Tent experience. Raised off the ground and strung between trees, this award-winning tent is perfect for giving your friends and family special memories that they'll cherish forever! The eco-village is built around a giant tipi, which contains a pizza oven and a bar. There’s even a warm shower and a clean and smell-free composting toilet. Glamping indeed! Owner Jean-Francois meets you at the carpark at your designated time, and leads you on a short 400m stroll through a snowgum forest to the village. The premise of the village is to have as minimal impact on the fragile alpine environment as possible, while still being able to enjoy the great outdoors. Talk about kid heaven! Just the idea alone of sleeping in a tent off the ground is enough to ensure a high level of excitement for the whole family! Combined with the tipi; a box full of games including: jenga, cards, frisbee and finska; a giant hammock; fresh home-made pizza for dinner and toasted marshmallows for dessert, all guarantee the greatest family camping trip of all time!

Alpine Eco Glamping Duo Tent

I was blown away by the adventure, and the delicious food left me thinking about it long after the weekend was over. The philosophy of Alpine Nature Experiences is to strip back everything you think you need, and focus on what’s truly luxurious - beautiful sunrises and sunsets, a warm fire, incredible wholesome food. This stay delivered all that and more. Highly recommend joining the Hike & Feast experience too, the hike through Mount Hotham was stunning and just the right amount of challenge.
