We loved camping on Nik’s property near the lake. The property is beautifully maintained, with lovely gardens, chickens and sheep. We enjoyed a camp fire each night, toasting marshmallows which Nik kindly offered us. We liked having access to a flushing toilet and a laundry sink, a short walk from the campsite (with the path between well lit at nighttime). We were the only tent by the lake, and there were a couple of caravaners in a back paddock (which we could see but not hear). The property is located a short drive from the Pig and Whistle pub (with a great beer garden), and a short drive from Trentham town centre with a well stocked grocer. Would highly recommend Nik’s property.

Nice camp-site, surrounded by animals. Good privacy with only a couple of bookings taken at once despite it being the long weekend.

Had a great stay at the old orchard paddock! The location was peaceful and scenic and the host was responsive and helpful, making everything easy from start to finish.

It was such a lovely place to stay. Easy camping and so much around to see and do. The hosts where very lovely and responsive, even bringing us ice for a hot day to help cool us down. Thank you for having us 😀
