This campsite offers a fantastic location for travelers, especially those heading to Tasmania. Guests consistently commend the friendly and accommodating hosts, Jackie and Jimmy, who make the experience welcoming and stress-free. While the site is praised for its spaciousness and proximity to Geelong and the Spirit of Tasmania ferry, some visitors note the lack of certain amenities like a dump station and accessible playgrounds. Overall, it’s an ideal spot for those looking for a quiet, well-situated place with basic facilities and a welcoming atmosphere.
Great campsite. The sites were full, but everyone was quiet and respectful. Peaceful night. Lovely sunset sky.
The power lines are not actually LIVE, so when looking at photos, don't worry about them. The dirt road into camp is super corrugated but only a few hundred metres long.
Convenient location with easy access. close to the SOT and also close to Geelong cbd and beaches.
Super friendly hosts who were extremely accommodating.
Level access and lots of space for the kids to run around.
Nice level sites, peaceful and ended up with power and water thanks to Jackie. If they had a rubbish bin it would be 10 out 10. After a day on the Spirit of Tasmania it turned to be great. Jackie is so friendly. Good luck, definitely recommend.
