Peaceful camping spot right on the lake. Loved sitting and watching all the birds. Just be careful if it has rained. We have a big motorhome and think we would get bogged had it been more damp. Will return :)

Tranquil heaven
An absolutely lovely, well set out place to stay. The camp sites were private enough that you didn't even know others were there. You can set up along the water edge and enjoy the little beach area or swim in the clear water. Moveable fire pit was perfect for camp cooking and plenty of wood available. Carol came to greet us make make sure we had all we need. Detailed instructions made it super easy to find our site. Definitely worth another stay!

Great place, 5 stars

We stayed at site 4, it was an awesome space with enough room for way more people than we had in our party. Nice flat, grassed area, with the lake within 10 metres of our swag was awesome. Carol was nice and accommodating host and we can't recommend her enough. We will definitely be returning.

Great location for an off-grid holiday. Site 4 was huge and flat, and the beach is about 20m walk away from the main campsite. No sight lines down to the beach from the site, so maybe not the best site for really little kids (try Site 1 for that). Our slightly bigger kids (5 & 8) loved that water was so shallow (50cm ish) for at least 100 m into the lake, and spent a whole day digging holes at the small but sandy beach. Shade at edge of site was great on hot days, and hosts Carol and Graeme were really welcoming and friendly. Not particularly close to town (Bairnsdale is 20 mins), but we liked that.
