Near Olympic National Park
Within a 60-minute drive from the Olympic National Park.
This forest is in the early stages of a big reforestation, stewardship, regenerative farming, bicycle-centric, art & community living space. It’s rustic but beautiful and extremely accessible for two-wheeled visitors with the Larry Scott Trail running almost half a mile directly through the property. (The trail goes 5 miles into town vehicular-free) There is no running water, there is a pit toilet, and there are sweet humans coming in and out helping to clear land, build roads, install a solar pump in the well etc. Come visit :) (and then come visit again in five years and check out progress!!)There are a number of flat tent camping spots on site. There are two available RV spots. This is a working forest so things are a little bit all over the place with many projects mid-stage. However it’s an incredibly beautiful space with tall Doug Fir trees and cedar and a couple broadleaf maples. Berries are abundant in the summer time and the Larry Scott Trail is easily accessible for walking, cycling or horse adventure, vehicular-free!
