Sleepy River sanctuary is a serene, 4 acre riverfront property surrounded by towering Poplars. Watch herons and Canadian geese floating on the pond during the day, bats and dragonflies swooping in for dinner as the sun sets behind the water in the evening. Fall asleep to the lullaby of crickets and frogs and wake up to birdsong after a day spent exploring spectacular Whatcom county or hiking Mount Baker.Pitch your tent or small RV on this beautiful, rural property surrounded by poplars and a (very) lazy river perfectly located just 20 minutes from Lake Whatcom and 30 miles from Mount Baker for world class hiking, skiing and snowboarding. There are several tent sites from next to tall cedars to waking up next to the river.
