Hawk's Landing is a 243 acre property just seven miles outside of Clarksburg, WV. This property is mainly wooded, with 20 acres of flat, open area. We are in the early stages of developing this property for basic camping, hiking and possible biking trails. Hawk's Landing will be available from January through September each year.Hawk's Landing is an up-and-coming campsite area where you can experience nature at it's best. The woods are clean and hilly, so with a bit of hiking, you can change your view and experience the beauty of West Virginia in all directions. There is a pond with limited access and a creek that flows year-round. The key focus here is "basic camping" for those who have a passion for the outdoors. Six tent sites are available. Two van camping sites are currently available and four more in the near future. Hawk's Landing is not a remote campsite and allows for a quick day-trip or leisurely drive from town. Lots of work completed this year so far. All roads are now opened, widened and passable.

This place has so much potential. I'm looking forward to returning when David has had a chance to get it set up.
