25 acres of bushland 130 km's south of Perth, surrounded by state forest with a crystal clear creek running through it 12 months of the year. Secluded and very quiet with abundant birdlife and the occasional kangaroo, emu and echidna's passing through. Pet kookaburras - will eat out of your hand and steal from the BBQ. Located at the base of Logue Brook dam wall, where a short walk makes all water facilities available, plus trout and marron when in season. Adjacent to the Munda Bidi trail, with cycle paths running in every direction. Not to defray the natural environment, only lovers of wild life and serenity are welcome, so no Ghetto blasters or party animals. Laughing, singing, dancing and joking, actively encouraged! Tents, camper vans, small caravans with good drivers and trailers only. PLEASE NOTE: Weeknights require a minimum of 3 nights stay. Weekends 2 nights minimum. Please look carefully at the directions, as I am unable to be contacted VIA phone before or after you arrive. If arriving after 5 o clock, try to let me know when booking, as to your ETA and please, beep your horn when down in the valley, so I can come to greet you. Happy camping.Camp next to a flowing crystal clear creek, with a multitude of birdlife flying around. Pet kookaburras who will eat out of your hands. The Occasional Kangaroo, Emu and the extremely rare Echidna who all call our place home. Hike along private camp; deserted bush trails, or go mountain biking. Or walk to the nearby Munda Biddi Trail that goes over the Dam Wall. Take your boat out on the nearby Logue Brook Dam or go water skiing, fishing for marron, gilgie, trout (When in Season - Please obey all fishing Laws) Visit Award winning Wineries and Cheese factories near by. Excellent site seeing along deserted roads. Peaceful environment. Mobile Phone reception at top of the hill.

Great spot

Absolutely loved our stay at Dougy’s Den, it just wasn’t long enough! A stunning secluded spot only minutes from the dam, where you can easily pitch your tent and truly get away from the daily grind for a while. Non-potable water, an undercover sitting area and an outdoor shower are all available on site. Waking up to the sounds of the birds and the creek is something else and the natural spa bath on the property was a massive bonus! Our dog had the time of his life too :) Graeme is a wonderful host and we really look forward to coming back. Thanks so much for having us!

The camping spot on the property is sheltered from wind and direct sunlight, and is a wall of green foliage to soothe the nervous system! My dog and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, particularly the cold stream running at the bottom of the camping spot. The 2 other features on the property are lovely, particles the natural spa bath further up the creek. The site is an easy walk to Lake Brockman. There is no phone service, just what's needed for a true break!
