Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Just 1 hour from Perth, Harmony Retreat is situated on 25 acres at the foothills of the Darling Range Escarpment just 10-15 minutes from Pinjarra and Dwellingup, 7 minutes from the southwest highway, and 3 minutes from Pinjarra-Williams Road. It's an easily accessible and picturesque private property with approximately 7 acres of forest, flushing toilet, hot outdoor shower, a winter creek, a swimmable spring-fed dam, and an abundance of bird and wildlife, nestled between cattle farms in the heart of the Peel region. There are friendly free-ranging chickens, a mischievous mini pig named Peppa (who loves pats), sheep, and a family dog on site. The owners Michelle, Troy, and Carolyne live and work onsite (this is a working farm). THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO BOOK IF YOU INTEND TO PARTY. The camping area is easily accessed by most vehicles. There is a hot water outdoor shower and toilet available to use and within walking distance of each site. The dam on the property is currently unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore this property is not recommended for those with small and wandering children. Older children will need to be supervised. Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times. There are no cooking facilities available for guests at present (this could change in the next couple of months as Troy is notorious for making stuff happen lol... so when it does we'll update the information). Therefore you will need to be completely self-sufficient including washing up bucket, cooker, kettle, esky, etc, and also bringing your own drinking water as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam. We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open flames during fire bans. All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. However, Peppa the Pig will always appreciate your veggie scraps. Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season. Anyone found having a fire during FIRE BANS will be reported to authorities and asked to leave the property immediately (we need to use firm words around this, as bushfire destroys homes and endangers lives). You can find details and learn a little more about what we do at here at hwcommunity.org

Harmony Retreat offers a spacious and serene camping experience, perfect for families and groups looking to unwind. The sites are well-maintained, with clean amenities like toilets and showers, and ample space between campsites ensures privacy. The property includes unique features like a dam for swimming, friendly farm animals, and enchanting little touches like fairy gardens. While most reviews are positive, a few mention the occasional windy conditions at some sites, but the overall atmosphere remains peaceful and inviting.

Lovely midweek break
Spacious, private (midweek camping without any others around) with neat and tidy toilets and showers. Arrival was smooth & well organised for us to get to our site without fuss. Enough space to go walkabout and enjoy birds, bandicoots, variety of plants and low light pollution starscape.

We stayed at the Harmony forest site. The site is spacious and relatively flat. There are many trees that provide shade and protects from the wind. Showers and toilets weren't too far and were clean. It was very easy to communicate with the hosts

Okay.
The site is great for a last minute, close to Perth getaway. While the site was lovely and quiet, the toilet and shower facilities were clean, we did feel it was quite expensive for what it was. Also there were a lot of Ants and loose rocks and honky nuts. The dam was pretty low water wise, so didnt get to dip my toes.

Gorgeous and spacious camp. We were with a group of 3 families and our site was perfect. Lovely flat area under the trees with lots of room. The showers and toilets were always clean. Our kids loved exploring and discovering all the hidden gems around the property.

Great weekend
19 ft pop-up camper · With pets ·
Great space to camp, easy to get to on a weekend after work. Campsites are well spaced out, toilets and showers super clean. We stayed in the Paddock site, which copped full force of easterly winds, obviously no fault of the hosts- but when we return, we'll choose the cosy Forrest sites. Easy drive into Dwellingup or Pinjarra if looking for something to do, but also great to sling a hammock in the tree and enjoy the amazing star show
