Worth a visit.
Wonderful place to stay. Wish we could stay longer. Would hope to call again. The care that is shown with the animals is obvious. Such a happy place.

Camping with kangaroos
Loveland was easy to find and a great road for 2wd. The drive in is pretty. Allan looked after us and introduced the Roos who were very welcoming. He gave some feed and we hand feed them. We had a fairly level, protected spot. It’s only a short drive from Loveland in to Jurien Bay

An Unforgettable Stay
Our recent camping trip to Loveland Kangaroo Sanctuary was an extraordinary experience that exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in the natural beauty and tranquility of the sanctuary, and the close encounters with the kangaroos made it an absolutely magical getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was waking up to the sight of kangaroos casually hopping around our campsite. Seeing these incredible creatures up close was not only refreshing but also a rare and special experience that we’ll treasure forever. The kids were absolutely thrilled! They loved watching the kangaroos and learning about them, making this a perfect spot for families. It's a fantastic opportunity for children to connect with nature and wildlife in a safe and engaging environment. The sanctuary itself is well-maintained, and the atmosphere is peaceful, making it an ideal location for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. The facilities were clean, and everything we needed was readily available, ensuring a comfortable stay. A big shoutout to Allen, the caretaker, who was nothing short of amazing. He was incredibly friendly, super helpful, and always available to assist us with anything we needed. His knowledge and passion for the sanctuary and its residents really enhanced our experience, and he made sure we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Overall, our time at Loveland Kangaroo Sanctuary was truly amazing.

Host was lovely and accomodating, area was clean and beautiful, firewood was plentiful laying around, shame about the weather I had but would definitely take the kids back one day to enjoy.

This is a camping must!
What a brilliant place to stay! We've been travelling up and down the west coast and Ken's place has been my son's favourite stop out of them all. Ken welcomed us with a big smile, showed us where to park and gave us a big bucket of feed for the roos (which kept my son busy for hours) He built us a beautiful camp-fire which we toasted marshmallows by and sipped on hot chocolate. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect night. The next day, I had issues with my caravan which was preventing us from leaving. Both Ken and Allan worked tirelessly for hours to get the problem resolved so we could be on our way and they never complained once. They are absolute legends and true gentlemen and we are so grateful to them both for their kindness and hard work assisting us to continue on with our journey.
