Family-friendly
Recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp is great for families and kids.
I have 5 acres lot that is very peaceful, lots of trees, one friendly Labrador and 3 horses. Nearby is Logue Brook dam, great spot for swimming or boating. Harvey is 10mins away, there are bars and wineries nice place to unwind. Located strategically to travel down south with Bunbury only 40 minutes away. The property is pasture it use to be joined to a diary farm, there is always milking jobs locally. We are on a quiet dirt road. 20mins to the beach Preston beach is a good fishing beach and has a great fish and chip shop. Also there is a great cheese factory in Harvey. We have a general store in Cookernup which has a great range. Weather is most suitable between September to May. Lusanda Park offers a welcoming and serene camping experience. Michaela, the host, and her friendly Labrador, Jarrah, add warmth to the stay. Campers appreciate the lovely grassy spots and the opportunity to interact with horses on the property. While some find the proximity to the house less private, the peaceful setting and nature's sounds create a relaxing retreat.

Great spot to explore the region. Lovely leafy property. Michaela the host is very welcoming and happy to chat about good spots to visit. The cohost Jarrah the chocolate lab is very welcoming. We really enjoyed our long weekend trip.

Another so enjoyable stay with Micaela at Lusanda Park! We are back only 4 weeks later when there was a gap in the bookings, as we loved it so much. We will be sure to be regulars, as the children have adopted the horses and dog into our family, as we all have done with Micaela too. Such a peaceful time out to be had, with early morning walks around the neighbourhood checking out the sheep and horses and goats around, outings to the dam for a cool-off or just spending quality outdoors time at Lusanda Park. Thank you for being such a warm-hearted, generous and beautiful hostess Michaela!

Michaela has been so kind to us in so many little details, and her place gave us the serenity and grounding that we needed. Setting up camp between the beautiful trees was a pleasure, and listening to the whinnying of horses throughout the day and seeing them graze and flick their tails while we were having our meals was such fun. The constant gentle and kind accompaniment of darling Jarrah the Labrador was heart-warming, and her shepherding us around the property endearing. Thank you Michaela for letting us get to know your four legged family members as well as you, and sharing your beautiful property with us for a few days. We will be back for sure!
