    A small rustic cabin with a two bed loft in the woods of northwestern Wisconsin. (We try to maintain a quiet setting). Snow conditions are ideal for snowmobile riding and skiing. We are on a snowmobile trail that connects to hundreds of miles of trails. There are several lakes within a few minutes drive including Wisconsin's premiere walleye lake ( Long Lake) . Miles of wilderness walking and atv trails as well. Fishing is great and I’ll act as your guide for a small day fee. I’ll clean and cook your fish as well. The cabin has a clean outdoor privy and a sink with bottled water but no plumbing. There is a kitchen area with mini fridge, stove and a sink It sits on 40 acres. The cabin shares the same yard space with our primary residence. With that in mind we ask that loud music and loud partying be done elsewhere.The cabin sleeps 4-5. The corner wood stove keeps the cabin plenty warm and wood is available in the woodshed. There’s an outdoor fire ring available for campfires and cookouts as well as a gas grill. We are 1/2 mile from the Tiscobia/ice age trail as well as 1 mile from red cedar lake landing. Long lake is a short 5 mile drive. There are also any number of crystal clear wilderness lakes within minutes of the cabin and the Red Cedar river Is just a few miles away. There are two small convenience stores within a 10 minute drive if you need food/supplies. The cabin is on an atv spur. You can access hundreds of miles of atv trails but since it’s a spur road we get very limited traffic.

    Jay and Sarah were very hospitable. Jay went out of his way to make us feel welcome. From homemade cookies, fishing, and archery, to keeping us up to date on what was happening in the area over the Fourth of July. We loved the cabin and our boys loved sleeping in the loft. We hope to be back.

    Had a great time with the family! House stayed nice and toasty at night with the wood stove! Jay and Sarah were absolutely amazing and very accommodating. Will definitely be coming back!

    My husband and I went to this beautiful cabin to unplug, relax and celebrate our 35th anniversary. We found so much more because our host and hostess made the extra effort. We were welcomed with homemade cookies, wonderful ideas for fun in the area and a new family of friends. We will be returning because this cabin was exactly what we needed.     Quiet and relaxing cabin, loved the fire stove and loft for sleeping. Beautiful area of Wisconsin.
