This is a very private location. In its former life this property was a limestone quarry. Evidence of it's history remain with high rock walls on both ends of the property. In the center of the property is about 5 acres that is flat and covered with wildflowers and small trees. There are several good options for camping in this area. Surrounding this area is another 15 acres of hills and trees. We have a scenic overlook open to all guests where you can relax and sit on a wooden swing while enjoying the beautiful view of the Mississippi River below. There is a boat ramp just a mile down the hill for boating or fishing on the Mississippi and the city of La Crosse, WI and La Crescent, MN are each only about a five minute drive. Great River Bluffs State Park and countless other recreational opportunities are just minutes away. This is a very private location.  In its former life this property was a limestone quarry.  Evidence of it's history remain with high rock walls on both ends of the property. Atop a Driftless Bluff
5 m pop-up camper
Beautiful spot tucked away atop the hill in the middle of the Driftless valley! Private, clean, exactly what we wanted to pull our camper up to and enjoy the space around, would definitely set up camp here again as it is so conveniently located just atop of whatever ya may need and want to take in.

Quarry Camping is Awesome!
6 m pop-up camper · With kids
Erica was very kind, helpful, and responsive. We were traveling through late at night and she gave detailed instructions to get us to our spot in the middle of the night. When we woke up we had an awesome view (took the scenic hike). The quarry is a unique setting for a campground and makes for a very "secluded" feeling (which we enjoyed). We travel back and forth by this space regularly on trips and will definitely be back!

Tent
We loved car fall camping. The tent side was very large and private. We hiked both trails overlooking the quarry and up to the swing over looking the river. Really pretty in the fall!
