Can get windy on the lake.
First Come First Served. The sites fill up quick in the summer so get there early. Some sites are secluded but some are right next to each other. There is a lot of shade for most sites. There is access to June Lake from the campground but the actual swimming area is on the opposite side of the lake. Bathrooms are SUPER clean with running water in the sinks and toilets; toilet paper always full stocked. Very little bugs if at all (camped Aug 19-22nd 2016) although there are a few yellow jacket bees so be careful. Camp site is next to June Lake community gift shops, brewery and diner. When first arriving at June Lake there is a gas station and general store that has all the essentials (bug spray, firewood, ice, etc). Loved it here!
