Less than an hour from Vancouver and 1/2 hour from Surrey and just over an hour from YVR. If you want to escape people, this is the place. If you want to experience nature in a safe setting, this is the place. There is no where like this. We are in the middle of the forest, along an ever flowing river, full of life. You won't believe you are only minutes from town. Our motto is RELAX, REJUVENATE AND ROMANCE, this is what we strive to give you when you are a guest at Golden Ears Glamping. Fish, swim, hike, birdwatch, meditate, yoga at the river, float, etc, etc. 1. The Rivers Edge: a riverfront (Alouette River South) Glamping Tent that is elevated in the large cedars overlooking the river. Personal kitchenette, full bathroom and outdoor shower. Personal soaker tub for two under the trees. We have one Glamping tent and is completely private and is away hidden from the main house but close enough for anything you request. We believe this is the ultimate in glamping experiences and you won't break the bank. 2. The Bear Suite: attached to the main house that has complete privacy. Private entrance, private hot tub for two, and deck with personal BBQ. and personal lounge area overlooking the natural pond and river.. Walls are double and ceiling is soundproofed. The decor is inspired by the culture of the local indigenous peoples of yale First Nation. Sit outside on your private deck overlooking the river and enjoy the beauty of seeing eagles bears deer and other wildlife. Here you will find a barbecue and outdoor propane griddle to create your favourite meals. Sit and enjoy the views of the river at your balcony railing bar or relax in your lounge chairs. Afterwards sit around the campfire and roast marshmallows while sitting next to the river. We include firewood. Guests can share a fully functional outdoor washroom facility featuring a compostable toilet and an outdoor low flow shower. Teepee #2This teepee is a more rustic adventure and features accommodation for 2 with access to the shared washroom. Outside you will find a picnic table and a tabletop barbecue. Quality bedding is provided as well as towels and washcloths and naturally handcrafted soap. This teepee is also decorated with local indigenous decor. This teepee has no power or water. Potable Water is available in the washroom. Battery powered LED lanterns are provided for you. Very quiet 3 acre property in the outskirts of the city. There are a few old fruit trees, the yellow plums are divine when they come into season. There are apples and pears and cherry trees as well. Deer, squirrels and bunnies are seen quite often here. You may hear the owl in wee morning hours, it sounds really neat. The area is private and fenced.
