    Enjoy the tranquillity of our 20-acre farm, surrounded by the Little Qualicum River and old-growth forest. We have 2 riverfront campsites that feature their own beach, the remaining 2 sites are along a stunning tree line of old growth forest. These sites offer more shade than our river front sites and are a short walk to the river. Several of our sites can accommodate up to a 40 foot trailer. We are an RV site only as we currently do not offer rest room facilities. They are under construction currently. We will soon be able to offer an our door shower and flush toilets! The farm is a 5-minute walk to the beach, a 5-minute drive to town, as well as 5 minutes to the local golf course. The river has many wonderful places to float along, as well as some incredible swimming holes. It is a favourite place for river fishing during the fishing season. Our farm has mini goats, lambs, pigs, ducks, chickens, cows, turkeys and rabbits. we are happy to take you on a tour upon request. Our farm is on a natural breeding ground for bald eagles so it is near certain that you will see several of them each day. Our campground is for those who appreciate nature, enjoy private campsites, and support local farmers.

    What a beautiful spot! The cabin was cozy for my family of 4 and a dog but was a great “in between” camping and an Airbnb. So many thoughtful touches the kitchen really has everything you need. The facilities were clean and shower water hot! We hiked every day with the Smugglers Cove a big hit. Truly a magically little area of BC. We will be back!

    We loved camping at Lisa’s place. It feels very private and very safe. There is everything a camper needs. Lisa communicated very well and there is a beautiful trail all the way around the property to small play area where all members of our family had so much fun. Lisa was so nice and understanding when our dog started running across her fields and around her property. I felt so bad but she even helped to catch him.

    We stayed in the renovated school bus for the weekend. The whole property is like a magical little get away and the bus was comfy and cozy during the rain :) The owners were friendly and the dogs and chickens kept us entertained. Come for a weekend to enjoy some of great hikes in the area or just take the time to rest in this little paradise- you won’t regret it!

    We stayed in the A-frame micro-cabin for 5 days. We are already dreaming of our next visit! Despite getting the "atmospheric river" vacation treatment, it had virtually all the amenities you could ask for in for a rainy day of off-grid living. It was beautiful and felt quiet (minus all the chorus frogs at night :D) and luxurious. The hosts were responsive and friendly, we even got some doggo time as they let their dogs roam near the chicken coop. Couldn't ask for a better "glamp" experience!

    I loved our stay on this magical school bus! Karen and Tito had the bus cleaned and ready before we’ve arrived. They provided us with clear instructions and a guide for our stay. Although I did not get a chance to meet them, they were extremely communicative through text to ensure we arrived safely. This is one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. I also had the best sleep of my life! I would recommend this to everyone that is looking for a glamping experience.

    The bus is adorable and cozy! There were some issues, apparently caused by some recent inclement weather, but the hosts are incredibly sweet and were very responsive to fix things as they came up.     I cannot express enough how special my stay at Karen and Kito's Tiny Secrets Farm & Retreat was. The Cabin's are unique and very well designed for comfort, fun features and a joy to stay in with windows all around for viewing the forest. The Micro cabin was a cozy, healing space for me with environmentally respectful features such as rainwater collection for the sink and water filter, compost for food scraps and compost outhouse. The layout of the farm's cabins and tent sites is sensitive to the natural layout of the land and creative touches are everywhere. I am definitely coming back again for a beautiful and restful stay. Thank you Karen and Kito.

    I loved the Schoolie. We stayed there for two nights but would have been happier with much longer. It was cozy, warm (even in December), and had everything we needed - from kitchen supplies to wifi. The hosts were gracious, generous and responsive. And the sunset wasn't bad either. It was a beautiful escape and I'll treasure the memories. Would certainly recommend. Thank you :)

    I had a lovely time at theDoighouse Earthship in the Maple Cabin! I was only there for one night, however, it was a really fun experience! They have put so much work & love into creating such a unique off-grid property. I was throughly impressed by everything they had! The Maple Cabin is cozy & inviting. It's the perfect size for 1-2 people! The bed is very comfortable & had very warm bedding (which was very welcomed as it was quite chilly the night I stayed!) Susan provided a quilt that her mother had made, which I thought was such a lovely touch. I hope to come back at some point in the future and spend a bit more time here!

    Join us on our family farm. Our third year hosting, we continue to enjoy hosting travelers from all over. Come join us and relax in the forest. Site 1 and 2 are drive-in sites. Site 3 is a tent-only site. Our newest Site 4 is a bit more open also for vans, campers, and tents, and we have a last-minute available Site 5 for vehicle camping. These sites will welcome you to recharge in nature. Dark night skies will open you to all the majesty of our solar system. Each standard campsite has a flat gravel surface suitable for tents, smaller RV's, shorter travel trailers, truck campers, rooftop tents, camper vans, and similar. Site 3 has a tent pad, well suited for cyclists or motorbikes. Small trailers up to 20 feet may be usable, but access may be tight. The camp sites surround the pond and there is a choice of lots of sun and light or shaded under the trees. The sites can be used by R.V or tent. there is an outhouse onsite for your convenience.
