And, if you are lucky, you may even see deer, beaver, bear, coyote, Marmot, or Western Painted Turtle roaming the property, all have been seen on the farm at one time or another, so keep your eyes peeled! We are close to amenities but are far enough out of town to provide a quiet and restful retreat from the hum and drum of every day life. Summer in the Okanagan. It’s the perfect place to camp near Bear Creek Provincial Park and Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park. We have 3 private campsites with stunning mountain views perfect for a small trailer, or self-contained camper van/tent. Guests can enjoy biking, fishing, hiking and wildlife watching all nearby. Please note that there are no amenities available at the campsite. Campers will need to have a self-contained vehicle and leave no trace. We are dog friendly and request that dogs remain under their owner's control at all times and on leash. We do not allow campfires as our home burned down last year in the McDougal Creek fire as well as a lot of the neighbourhood so we don’t allow any fires or smoking cigarettes on the property. We will be building our new home during the summer but the build is a bit away from where the sites are so it shouldn’t be an issue. But this is forwarded as we know that this is a priority for us as so we won’t stop building even if we have campers, so we just want everyone to know this in advance! Overview

Extending more than 170 kilometres (105 miles) from the US border north to the city of Vernon, the Okanagan Valley is Western Canada’s major wine-producing region, with more than 200 wineries amid the rolling hills. The Okanagan is also an agricultural area, where farmers’ markets and roadside stands sell peaches, corn, tomatoes, and more. You can swim or paddle the region’s lakes, including the 135-kilometer (84-mile) Okanagan Lake. Peak camping season runs from April through October in this dry, sunny region. Spring and fall are usually pleasant, and summers can be hot—the valley encompasses Canada’s largest desert. Winters are milder and drier than in other Canadian regions, although snow can fall December through February.
