We will be building our new home during the summer but the build is a bit away from where the sites are so it shouldn’t be an issue. But this is forwarded as we know that this is a priority for us as so we won’t stop building even if we have campers, so we just want everyone to know this in advance! Outhouse on the property, which is just a pit toilet. It is a working farm so will likely have various equipment around at times as well as workers at certain times of the year. You’ll likely meet our very friendly and very energetic Bernedoodle, Bernie. If you prefer to keep him out of your campsite just let us know and we can keep him closer. Otherwise, he thinks he has the run of the place! Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high-risk fire zone) and firewood is available with an extra charge. Positioned midway between Kelowna and Pentiction, it is the perfect location to draw from both population centres and is well-positioned to act as a hub for popular wine and other agri-tourism activities. We look forward to offering fellow nature lovers an opportunity to appreciate the benefits and peace Braeheart Nature Retreat has to share. Whether you are seeking a more private get away or an opportunity to experience our developing homestead ideas/practices, we are devoted to meeting your desires. We are located 2km from Harald Provincial Pk. and the world renowned Margaret Falls. Our nearest town for services, Salmon Arm, is 25km away, and is host to the annual Roots and Blues Festival. Swimming, hiking, kayaking, wine touring, and weekly farmers markets are a few of the many local activities to enjoy.
