We are situated in the middle of a Recreation Hotspot! Our site is within 3 minutes of paddling the Big Creek, 3 to 10 minutes to several A+ hiking trails, 15 minutes to amazing freshwater beaches of Long Point and Turkey Point, and the area is abound with cycling trails, motorcycle routes, geocaching, boat launches (we have room here for your boat!), cider/wine tours, and more! The Ranch

We have four sites with 30 amp RV power. One new site with 50 amp RV power (no pictures as yet) PLEASE NOTE: There are no outhouses/washrooms on the property, you must be self contained. Site 1 is in our opinion the best site but not the easiest to get in with a larger rig but have had a 43 ft unit in there. Site 2 is fairly level and grass area. Back in only. Site 3 is fairly level and grass area. Back in only. Site 4 is also fairly level and grass. It is pull through and offers a view of the lake. There is plenty of room to park tow or pull vehicle. Should one need there are leveling blocks available to use located to the right of site 2. The sites now have numbers either on the power posts or the panel box for ease of locating your spot. NOTE for 2024 water is not available at the sites as new lines are being installed. Water to fill your tank is available at our house. At present three of the sites have water feed from our home with potable water via garden hose. You may need to connect your hose to the supply line to reach your unit. When weather permits, early spring and late fall may not be available.

Carp Lake Escape is a 73 acre property that surrounds a 30 acre private lake with approximately 1 km of sandy beach along one side of the lake. Along the other side of the lake you may see some of our resident dogs, ducks and geese. All very friendly farm animals just waiting for their next treat. There are walking trails nestled in amongst the bushes and 2.5 km sandy track that surrounds the lake for any running enthusiasts or if you want to take a leisurely walk and enjoy the surroundings of our property. Though you feel completely secluded and at peace at this property we are just a short drive to Kanata or the village of Carp if you need any last minute supplies.

Batchawana Beach Paradise

Frontier Trails is a family-run Summer Camp for the past 46 years. Family Camping. We host 3 seasons of outdoor ED. and team building available for School, kids’ groups, retreats, weddings, and rental packages. Family Vacations & Reunions. We have100 acres of scenic trails, & 2500’ on the beautiful Bonnechere River. You can rent a trailer, cabin, or cottage, bring your own trailer or tent or you can rent the whole camp for your group or family retreat. We can house up to 150 people and can cater or you can look after your own meals. We have 7 weeks of Day Camp for kids 4-16 with Riding E & W, ESL, and Traditional Programs. 1-7 week stays Climbing wall, archery, canoeing, kayaking, water tramp and blob, trail rides, ESL, sports, and more. Outdoor learning presents opportunities to be challenged by something new, realize an undiscovered talent, and increase confidence and skills TEACHING, FUN, MEMORIES, and FRIENDS.

Well-kept trails to explore throughout. We are proud to have made the runner-up list for best Hipcamp in Ontario 2023 The terrain is mostly flat but interesting. Campsites are private with good separation from each other. Sites contain a picnic table and fire pit. Campfires are permitted according to our approved burn plan before midnight. 5G/LTE cellphone service is good for Bell, Rogers and Telus networks. FREE Firewood can be gathered on the forest floor or pay for on-site pre-cut wood. Outhouses are close to campsites....but not too close 💩 Port Rowan is only 12 minutes away by car, most amenities can be purchased only 1 minute away at the local Busy Bee gas station. We are situated in the middle of a Recreation Hotspot! Our site is within 3 minutes of paddling the Big Creek, 3 to 10 minutes to several A+ hiking trails, 15 minutes to amazing freshwater beaches of Long Point and Turkey Point, and the area is abound with cycling trails, motorcycle routes, geocaching, boat launches (we have room here for your boat!), cider/wine tours, and more! We are the perfect basecamp for everything the Long Point Bay area has to offer We have some great watering holes nearby like burning kiln winery, hounds of Erie and Charlotteville brewing company. Birders Paradise! The ‘Long Point Birding Area’ in Norfolk County is one of Canada’s premier birding locales. With over 400 species of birds observed, Long Point looms large as one of the most exciting places on the continent to observe our rich birdlife. The Ranch

We have four sites with 30 amp RV power. One new site with 50 amp RV power (no pictures as yet) PLEASE NOTE: There are no outhouses/washrooms on the property, you must be self contained. Site 1 is in our opinion the best site but not the easiest to get in with a larger rig but have had a 43 ft unit in there. Site 2 is fairly level and grass area. Back in only. Site 3 is fairly level and grass area. Back in only. Site 4 is also fairly level and grass. It is pull through and offers a view of the lake. There is plenty of room to park tow or pull vehicle. Should one need there are leveling blocks available to use located to the right of site 2. The sites now have numbers either on the power posts or the panel box for ease of locating your spot. NOTE for 2024 water is not available at the sites as new lines are being installed. Water to fill your tank is available at our house. At present three of the sites have water feed from our home with potable water via garden hose. You may need to connect your hose to the supply line to reach your unit. When weather permits, early spring and late fall may not be available.
