We are on a small biologically special lake, the source of the Styx River, that promises quietly inspired surroundings. We especially encourage writers and readers that will also appreciate our Little Free Library and the small Libraries inside each accommodation. We have quiet, segregated spaces inside or outside for writing or reading. You can purchase works by the author/host onsite. But we are not just about books. A peaceful nature space with a large magical pond (the size of an olympic swimming pool) to bask in, plus a 44 acre forest to roam. You will have access to clean water to swim in (no soaps or detergents in the pond please, we also swim in the pond regularly so we might see you in there!), clean water to drink + wash dishes in, lots of safe flat parking for cars and camper vans, lots of safe flat grass for tents, a giant forest, views of a few beautiful horses doing their own thing on our pastures (do not feed them or go within the fenced off horse areas), loads of birds, dragonflies, butterflies and more! We require quiet after 9pm, and before 9am. No excessive substance use please. No substance use if you are going to swim. Private simple camping toilet/outhouse setup with view of nature. Water for washing hands. No shower. We moved here because we thought it was beautiful, and we hope to share that with others. We live here, and enjoy the water and land every day. Looking forward to welcoming you and sharing our space!

Amazing property to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Awesome sunrises and sunsets. Listen to the frogs and the crickets while watching the fireflies dance around. We provide bedding, towels, soap, shampoo, pots, pans, kettle, cutlery, tabletop barbecue, a cooking grill, utensils, mugs, cups, drinking water and more. There is an outdoor shower available at each site. We provide enough wood for the first campfire. After that, it's $7 a bundle. All you need to bring is your food, drinks, cooler and maybe a flashlight. The camp fire will be ready and waiting for you to enjoy under a sky full of stars. Included in your stay is access to the barn games room which features ping pong, air hockey, darts, music and more. Our property is conveniently located to easily access all the amazing activities and sights this area has to offer. Allan Park Conservation Area, Hanover Drive-in, MacLean's Ales Brewery, OLG Slots and Hanover Raceway, Inglis Falls and Walters Falls just to mention a few.
