In the winter water would have to be stored inside. Linen not provided. Off Grid Forest Retreat

Our remote off grid property in the forest east of Eagle Lake is a great place to disconnect and decompress. The roadside Bunkie sleeps 4 and can accommodate a RV trailer or tent as well. Pets are welcome. The property has a pit toilet, and campfires are allowed in the designated pit. There is also potable water in the bin with an outdoor kitchen and BBQ area. In the winter water would have to be stored inside. Linen not provided. You’ll wake up surrounded by trees and can explore the great hiking, nature viewing, atv trails and boating in the summer months. In the winter enjoy glaming in the propane heated bunkie, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, snow machine trails at the door. Wildlife is all around. Several lakes and parks are nearby, including Mikisew Provincial Park on Eagle Lake, about 20 km south, where you can go boating, paddling, or swimming and Algonquin Provincial Park is close as well with many lakes and hiking trails. Some restaurants and stores can be found in the South River, about 20 km away.

Eagle Lake Narrows Sunset Sites

Learn more about this land: Come and camp on beautiful Eagle Lake with approximately 120' frontage facing North. The campsites are only steps away from the water’s edge where you can enjoy stunning sunsets. Swimming, fishing and a playground are just across the road. The sites have a raised fire pit to cook your meals and a picnic table for enjoying them. We can provide firewood for $12 a bag, just ask! These medium sites can accommodate two tents or a small camper with a total of four people. There is a shared outhouse, with flush toilets at the park across the road. Each site has water and electricity, and you can also find a WIFI signal nearby. Eagle Lake Narrows Country Store is on the same three acre property. There you can rent boat, canoe, kayak, SUP and bicycles. Right across the road is a public beach, perfect for a relaxing day with family or friends. The public beach also is equipped with handy amenities like bathrooms, change rooms, fishing docks, and extra parking. Eagle Lake is approximately 3 hours from Toronto, just over 4 hours from Ottawa, and less than an hour to Huntsville. It is very close to Algonquin Park.

The site is ideal for every type of camper, from tents to RVs. RVs can expect a pull-through site that will require some leveling. Campfires are permitted (within local regulation), pets are welcome, no more than two. Please note that there is no restroom on-site so please plan accordingly. Firewood is provided at no extra charge. Hot tub rental available on first come first serve basis.

While our campground is currently under construction, we have 2 sites available with hydro , water and sewer. 1 site with no service and 1 cabin with Washroom and kitchen . Enjoy the serenity of our secluded campground and unwind by the main fire pit. Take a leisurely walk through the nearby bush, or explore the area on horseback with stables located nearby. Spend your days at the beach, indulge in delicious fries at the Narrows, and let your kids have fun at the park. For those who enjoy golf, the Eagle Lake Golf Course is just a short 6-minute drive away. We offer a fire pit, basketball net, toys, and a sandpit for children to enjoy. Relax and dine at our main eating area, equipped with tables and chairs. You can also embark on a small bush trail adventure for a touch of exploration.
