Luxury Camping in a lovely place
We started our trip to Canada by spending one evening here. What a beautiful experience ! Cornelius made sure we were missing nothing.
We set our camp close to the creek. We had access to restrooms and hot shower inside the house with also a location to wash our dishes.
This is all you can dream when camping !
Can only recommend that place to anyone. South Road was fun to drive. This is a dirt road :-)

Shangri La
This was a beautiful spot to camp! Cornelius sent clear directions & the grass was freshly mowed for us to easily pitch our tents. There was lots of room for the dogs & the creek was wonderful. Would highly recommend!

Magical little oasis
This was the most peaceful and serene camping spot I’ve ever stayed at. When we arrived, Cornelius had set up a hammock and mowed the lawn before our arrival. The sound of the creek can be heard from you tent and the fire pit was loads big! We bought some eggs and firewood and man did they provide! I think we got something like 18 eggs and a pile of firewood to keep a boat running! Don’t debate staying here it is magical

Great overnight!
This place was so beautiful! So many campsites right along the creek, and Cornelius was very accommodating and communicative. We much appreciated having access to a shower after 4 days of roughing it with primitive camping up in Jasper. We were able to easily get our mid size truck and 10 foot teardrop trailer down the hill to park near the creek. We will definitely recommend this spot to anyone coming thru Cranbrook!

Murphys Peaceful Cranbrook Campsite
Off roading and no power
Your drive leaving Cranbrook to head to the site consists of 14kms of washboard gravel, not a huge problem just annoying. Once you make it to His property he guides you to a site you want which all are full off-roading to get to. It’s not a pleasant journey to the sites though once at them they are nice. Not every site has a picnic table and the fire pits are a little small.
And a big one *only one powered site*
It’s not great heading to a place advertising power and there is none, plus the power is spotty because he runs solar. I wouldn’t personally recommend this to anyone unless they are fine with off-road off grid camping.

Murphys Peaceful Cranbrook Campsite
Murphy went above and beyond to be an excellent host. He greeted us right on arrival and showed us to our campsite (which was absolutely perfect). Lots of privacy and right beside a creek. The second day, we decided to go for a hike, but we took the wrong route home, and ended up miles away from our car, and wouldn't make it back in daylight. Murphy was SO kind and picked us up and drove us to our car. I can't recommend this place enough and Murphy is an amazing host.
