Our property sits on 2 acres of pristine mix of redwoods, madrone, and oak trees. Amazing valley views, gate access from yard to hiking trails, and very quiet at night. Neighborhood overview Felton/Santa Cruz is full of things to do: - The Roaring Camp & Big Trees Narrow Gauge Railroad is a 3 ft narrow-gauge tourist railroad. - Henry Cowell State Park, most famous for the 40-acre grove of towering old-growth redwood trees. - Mystery Spot: Experience gravity-defying demonstrations on the short but steep uphill walk. - Garden of Eden: Secret swimming hole with lots of fun boulders to jump off and swim around. We will fill you in on how to get there. - Cruise on bikes down West Cliff Drive - Hang out at beach and relax.. - And of course, world famous surfing in Santa Cruz. We have a two-night minimum on weekends.Come and breathe the fresh mountain air in our brand new Casita “tiny house” in the redwood forest. Glamping in style, our Casita is situated on a ridge overlooking the summit of the Santa Cruz Mountains; The Casita is completely private and separate from the main house. Outdoor shower attached to Casita  Enjoy the view with a glass of wine on the front porch. Walk out front door to trails through the redwoods. Excellent restaurants in small, quaint town of Felton, home to majestic Henry Cowell State Park. Or drive 20 minutes to Santa Cruz.  Felton is a community of 6K residents who live in the beautiful redwood forest of the Santa Cruz Mountains. The two-block-long downtown area offers restaurants, market, shopping and sightseeing at the Big Foot Museum and Henry Cowell State Park with miles of single track running and mountain biking trails. We have a 1-night minimum on weekends.

La Casita offers a charming retreat for those seeking tranquility amidst nature. Guests appreciate the breathtaking views and unique outdoor shower experience, which adds an element of fun to the stay. While the loft bed's low ceiling can be a minor inconvenience, the overall cozy and clean environment is well-received. However, visitors should be aware of potential shared use of the fire pit by the hosts, which some guests felt wasn't communicated clearly.

Fantastic stay!
Daisy was great! Directions to get there were very clear and the view was lovely. The van and site were clean and tidy. There was a space heater, kettle, outlets, mugs, and coffee supplies. The shower wasn’t super private but the bathroom was 100% private (it was an indoor and comfortable space). Overall it was a great stay, I would totally go again!

Loved the stay at la casita! View was beautiful, cabin was very nice and clean and host did a great job communicating! I have the say the outdoor shower was the best shower experience as well. Only “downside” is very low ceiling on the loft bed but not negative experience just something to keep in mind so you dont bump your head but very comfortable otherwise!
