Wooded and gated with large campsites - RV FHU, tent, van, and glamping sites available! We offer a place to stay as a gateway to Destin, Okaloosa Island, Pensacola Beaches and waterways, or to the expansive local activities in the Blackwater State Forest and surrounding rivers, including hiking, hunting, canoeing, and kayaking! Our spacious and private sites include: 3 FHU (water, electric, and sewer - a 50 AMP + two 30 AMP), water and electric, RV boondocking, primitive, and glamping in our refurbished 2003 Dutchman Camper. Our primitive site is hike in only. We are a fully fenced in 14 acres. The campsites are behind a natural barrier of trees that offer privacy. Though we are a peaceful setting, there are neighbors beyond the fence and you may hear donkeys braying, roosters crowing, cows mooting, or dogs sounding off to deer moving around in the woods of the state forest. There are well maintained walking/biking/hiking trails are on the property, with many shaded sections. Porta potty on site for our tent campers and boondockers, but coming soon - a full washhouse w/ flush toilet and shower! NEWLY opened Dump station! ($10 fee) We are pet friendly! Off leash time may be available if you coordinate with hosts and other campers. The property is in a perfect location for star gazing, safe with gate code.Owners have a residence and can assist with pre-delivering firewood and or even a complete tent set up.Private nooks for campers and a new bath house being built. We went with 2 dogs 3 kids and it was great!

Extremely understanding and kind. Clean and safe feeling, comfortable and quiet. I hear bathhouse is near completion thus making this site even more so amazing for family getaways.

Primitive Camping Nook

This is a beautiful, private campsite. I love waking up to the roosters, trees and solitude. The walk in is very short and well worth it. Hosts are kind. Highly recommend this place.

Nice location set back in the trees. Jay was friendly and helpful. Not much road noise, very quiet except for birds, occasional rooster crowing and donkey braying. Good birding with a lot of native plants and transitional habitat.

Very nice hosts with a fenced in site. Did not have a problem leaving my truck camper while I went to various places I wanted to visit.
