Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
This Sears kit home was originally built in 1941 and has been remodeled to give it a more cabin like feel. It sits on 1.38 acres of land with mature trees and direct access to Boston Bay which connects to the Mississippi River. Enjoy the view from the new deck or take your boat or jet ski down the road to one of 3 public boat launches. This area is known for boating, fishing, hunting, camping and snowmobiling.Make yourself at home in this 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage with full kitchen and a wide open family room with electric fireplace. Grill out on the gas barbecue and use the patio furniture to eat out on the deck while enjoying the amazing view of the bay, especially at sunset. Take the winding stairs down to the edge of the bay and have a campfire in the sand depending on the water level which varies greatly between floods and droughts. If you want to venture from the house, there is a campground down the road with a splash pad, ice cream stand, bayside store and 3 public boat launches. If you continue further into town there is a gas station/convenience store and 2 bar/restaurants.

The house interior is nice with its nautical theme. Also we love that it's pet friendly. However, we weren't notified that the beach is flooded so there's nothing else to do. It's probably not the best time of the year to stay along that area. If you love nature and trails, this is not the area.

This is a cute little cottage perfect for my mom, granddaughter and I to get away and relax. I can't speak for the beach as the water was up to the stairs but the stairs going down were nice. It had everything we needed.
