Firepit. This is a Certified Wildlife Habitat Certified by the National Wildlife Federation, There is 5.10 acres and part of that is private land with a house on it. I have several spots to camp with tents and if you want to make your own shelter there is plenty of wood/downed trees to make one, if you make one that is a 'top of the line' shelter (from scratch) it will be allowed to remain standing for your own use next time. There is a NO SMOKING policy at StarCountryAcres and I ask you abide by that rule. No showers, sorry no pets allowed. There is NO maximum limit on how many days you can stay.. I will NOT be responsible for ANY liability that happens to you and your party. There is a Screen House on the property if you want to sit inside without getting eaten by bugs, The pond in front of it has no water but the frogs still make it known they are there and waiting f ( birds in the daytime) There are Deer,Rabbits,Possums,Raccoons,Coyotes,(not dangerous) Birds and lots and lots of different bugs that will BUG you if your not protected, so bring your bug spray. I do allow caged Birds if you have any and they can stay in the screen house if you choose to do so but I am not responsible if anything happens to them, there is no electricity at this time because a Windnado came and knocked out a big part of the fence that lead to electricity to SOME camp sites..Trash cans are provided in different places but if you can burn your trash that is ok with me. Bring plenty of water and baby wipes to refresh yourselves when your in need,... The BACK area is very private and you will not be near anyone else, This is the wooded part of StarCountryAcres and as any wooded areas beware of the Poison Ivy. I have trails to walk on and its a good idea to have fun and try to get along with others out there. All I ask is that you Respect StarCountryAcres as a *Natural wildlife habitat, do not bring any portable tv's or radio's... Tent
This was a nice spot for camping! Lisa's land has lots of space to pitch a tent and there were beautiful views all around. We arrived in the middle of a downpour and the owners let us wait inside their house and chatted with us until the rain let up.

A Weekend in the Woods
The host Lisa met us and showed us around the area. We got a great spot with the fire ring out in the sun but the tent in the woods. The area is beautiful. There are some walking paths to look around. You hear birds at all hours of the day, from dawn to dusk. Their dog is friendly and very obedient. She will stay and hang out if you want and will leave the moment you tell her to. Overall, the pictures do it justice and are very accurate. It is the perfect campsite for a getaway. We will definitely try go get back.

Group trip
Smaller than i had expected, but i went in the winter so we didn't have as much to do either. She does have apple trees so fall camping is a great choice at this location.

Upon arriving at the camp I was met by Lisa the owner, she walked me around on a tour of the property, she talked to me about how the land was official refuge land for the birds. There are alot of thorn bushes on the property around the wooded parts so Small children might not be the best choice here. There was a firepit and you are aloud to collect the wood around the property. There is a lot of different wildlife, foxes, raccoons, bob cats etc. also a really good bird watch tower towards the house.
